Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a neural network equipped with an expert system function.
CONSTITUTION: A method for executing the function of each kind of expert system on a trained feed-forward neural network is provided. Those functions include decision preparation, explanation, calculation of reliability measurement, and intelligence direction of information capture. Moreover, knowledge implied in the network is converted into a set of exact if-then rules.
