Title:
NEUROCOMPUTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3025592
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a neurocomputer with the ability comparable to an 8-bit microcomputer capable of handling nonlinear functions at low cost which suppressing the increase of a memory capacity.
CONSTITUTION: Synapse connecting coefficients, biased values and the nonlinear functions are stored in a first storage means, neuron data are stored in a second storage means and execution calculation is performed. Thus, nonlinear output can be obtained by small memory amount and the nonlinear functions can be handled at low cost while suppressing the increase of the memory capacity with the ability of the 8-bit microcomputer approximately. Also, the synapse connecting coefficients are stored in a ROM 6 at every respective block, the miniaturization of a program capacity is enabled and an execution calculation speed can be accelerated and made fit for practical use.
