Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify a calculation, to miniaturize the program capacity, to execute an executing calculation at a high speed, and to make it practicable by providing a means for storing a transfer coefficient related to a non-linear conversion as a table.
CONSTITUTION: In a ROM 6, a sigmoid function table and a synapse coupling table are stored, and in a RAM 7, input signals from a switch 5 and a sensor 4, the sum total of values obtained by multiplying the input signals by a synapse coupling coefficient, and a value obtained by allowing its sum total to be subjected to nonlinear conversion by a sigmoid function are stored. In this case, the sigmoid function is a function shown by a curve in which a positive area and a negative area are a point symmetry, therefore, in this example, the sigmoid function table uses that which is obtained by tabling the positive area of the sigmoid function. Also, the synapse coupling table is obtained by tabling the synapse coupling coefficient obtained by learning.
