Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an agricultural composition comprising a parenthesis suppressing agrochemical, obtained by especially combining an insecticide or acaricide with an effective amount of urea, and capable of suppressing paresthetic level of the insecticide.
CONSTITUTION: This agricultural composition capable of suppressing paresthetic effect caused by an agrochemical active ingredient is obtained by combining the agrochemical active ingredient (especially preferably a pyrethroid) with urea. The pyrethroid is a compound of formula I {X is a group of formula II [R2 and R3 are each a halogen, a (halogenated) alkyl, a (halogenated) phenyl or an alkoxycarbonyl] or formula III [R4 and R5 are each H, a halogen or a (halogenated) alkyl; R6 is an alkyl; (n) is 0 or 1]; Y is 3-phenoxyphenyl in which the phenyl can be substituted by a halogen, or 5-benzyl-3-furyl; R1 is H or cyano}, especially cypermethrin, fenvalerate or fluvalinate. The weight ratio of the urea to the active ingredient is preferably (2:1) to (4:1).
