Abstract:
To provide a compound having steroid C17, 20 lyase-inhibiting activity, and useful as a preventing/treating agent of prostatism and tumor such as breast cancer; and to provide a method for efficiently separating the optically active substance of the compound from an optical isomer mixture.
The compound represented by formula 1 [wherein, each symbol is as defined in the specification], the salt thereof, the prodrug thereof, and the method for obtaining the optically active substance by optically resolving the optical isomer mixture by the use of a resolving agent such as tartranilic acid and the like are provided.
