Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new plasmid vector enabling easy insertion into a host and containing an integrase gene, a DNA forming a region to control the expression of the gene and a DNA forming a recognition region in the catalyzation of an integration reaction with the integrase. SOLUTION: This new plasmid vector contains an integrase gene, a DNA forming a region to control the expression of the integrase gene and a DNA forming a recognition region in the catalyzation of an integration reaction with the integrase. The vector is easily handleable, enables the insertion of a desired foreign DNA into a genom of a host cell in high efficiency, gives a transformant having stabilized properties, facilitates the preparation of a transgenic animal having stabilized properties and is usable for the production of valuable substances in a laid fowl egg. The plasmid vector can be produced by transducing an integrase gene derived from retrovirus and a recognition region of an integrase into a plasmid.
