Title:
NI-BASE ALLOY FOR FILLING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3196389
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the wear resistance of a high-energy density filling by specifying the compsn. of the Ni-base alloy for the filling.
CONSTITUTION: The chemical compsn. of the Ni-base alloy for the filling is composed of over 12% and to 20% Mo, 0.5 to 2.0% Si, 2.6 to 4.0% C, 25 to 40% Cr and the balance Ni and inevitable impurities. As a result, the Ni-base alloy filling layer formed by a high-density energy heat source consisting of rapid heating and cooling solutionizes molybdenum into a primary crystal carbide and a molybdenum oxide 1.5 formed by oxidizing the molybdenum is made to exist in a contact area with a mating material 4. The wear resistance is thus improved.
