Title:
NOISE CONTROLLER FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3142917
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform excellent noise control by setting an optimum filter coefficient at any time following up the variation of a reference signal.
CONSTITUTION: This noise controller consists of a microphone 2 embedded in the headreset 1 of each seat, a controller 4 which inputs an electric signal generated by converting a sound collected by the microphone 2 and the ignition pulse signal (IG pulse signal) sent out of an ignition pulse detector (IG pulse detector), and an audio front speaker 5 which is driven by the controller 4 to cancel the noise in the vehicle. The optimum value of the filter coefficient of the filter is found by a simplex method from the minimum value of a sequential evaluation function according to plural optional filter coefficients. In this case, the values of evaluation functions corresponding to plural optional filter coefficients are all updated in each period where updating operation for plural optional filter coefficients is performed specific number of times.
