Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise reducing type vehicular brake caliper preventing the generation of impact noise caused by contact of adjacent components even when vibrations occurs in a vehicle during steep-road traveling, by adding a constant elastic force to components structuring a caliper.
SOLUTION: This caliper is composed of a caliper housing, a mounting bracket silidably supporting the caliper housing by a guide pin, a piston stored in the caliper housing and actuated by hydraulic pressure supplied from the outside, and a shoe press-fitting a disc by the piston. An elastic member is equipped between the shoe and a bridge portion of the caliper housing so as to add continuous pressurizing force between the bridge portion and the shoe.
