To provide a non-contact power supply system for a mechanical multistory parking garage which can supply electric power to a power receptacle of a pallet even if positional deviation between a power supply contact and a power receiving contact occurs in a parking room, is easy in maintenance, and does not generate a spark between both contacts, so that a fire due to the spark does not occur in a building.
Since a non-contact power supply system is adopted for power supply to a power receptacle of a pallet in a parking room, even if positional deviation between a primary coil and a secondary coil occurs during, for example, electric charge to an electric motor vehicle, the positional deviation is permitted and power can be supplied when the positional deviation is in a range of a non-contact power supply region existing between both coils. The non-contact power supply system does not cause such deformation of both contacts by an impact force generated when a power supply contact in a parking room pushes a power receiving contact of a pallet and deterioration of electrical properties due to generation of friction on the contact surfaces of both contacts as in the conventional contact power supply system. As a result, periodic exchange of both contacts becomes unnecessary to facilitate maintenance, and no spark is generated between both contacts, so that the risk of occurrence of a fire due to the spark in a multistory parking garage is eliminated.
