Abstract:
PURPOSE:To achieve a quicker measurement, by utilizing movement of a moving member for focusing to be obtained by a specified electronic circuit. CONSTITUTION:A measuring person conducts a masking to extract image information only at measuring parts of recesses and projections fro a screen of a monitor TV camera 30 and specified areas of the recesses and projections are stored into memory circuits 48 and 49 of an electronic circuit 40. An image output of the camera 30 is inputted into a gate circuit 42 through a changeover switch 46 to mask a part corresponding to the image output of the camera 30 and the image output only for specified areas of the recesses and projections is inputted into a focusing detection circuit 44. Focusing is made on one part of recesses and projections with a switch 46 to read a graduation on a height gauge. Furthermore, the switch 46 is turned, to make a focusing on another measuring part and a graduation is read on the gauge. Then, a difference between both the graduations is determined to obtain the absolute value of the difference, which gives a relative height of the recesses and projections. This enables automatic measurement of the height between measuring parts thereby assuring a quicker measurement.
