Abstract:

To provide a support for a printing sheet as the printing sheet having rigidity and a tearing resistance.

The support for the printing sheet includes a non-stretched layer (X layer) containing a propylene resin composition having a thickness of 50-200 μm and a weight ratio of a propylene resin to an inorganic filler of 50:50-90:10. The thickness of the X layer is 60% or more of the total thickness of the support. A Clark stiffness of this support for the sheet is 15 cm3/100 or more in MD and TD directions, and an Elmendorf tearing strength is 10 N/mm or more in both the mini disk and TD directions.
