Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide non-welding column and column joining structure in which workability is good, firm connection can be performed and connection can be performed by normal high-strength bolts without useless increase of material.
SOLUTION: With regard to the structure, upper and lower steel tube columns 1, 2 are joined through a short tube joining hardware 3. A hand hole 7 in which the hand of a worker can insert is provided on the peripheral wall of the joining hardware 3. The upper part of the joining hardware 3 and the upper side steel tube 1, the lower part of the joining hardware 3 and the lower side steel tube 2 are joined by bolts 12 and nuts 13 together with pincer plates 3 respectively. General high-strength bolts are used for the bolts 12.
