Abstract:
To provide a gasket for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery, which is less expensive and high in heat resistance, and which achieves high moldability while a polypropylene resin is used, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A gasket hereof comprises, as a main component, a resin which is formed by injection molding and into which polypropylene and polyphenyl ether are alloyed. A manufacturing method of such a gasket comprises: kneading together polypropylene, polyphenylene ether, a molding assistant, etc. in advance by a biaxially kneading extruder; and injection-molding a resin composition produced by cooling and solidifying a resin composition discharged from the biaxially kneading extruder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
