To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery in which a resistance increase ratio (%) after charge/discharge cycles can be reduced.
In a nonaqueous secondary battery 100A, a ratio A/B between a value A and a value B satisfies a relationship of 0.78≤(A/B)≤1.22,the value A being obtained by dividing a DBP oil absorption amount of a positive electrode active material particle 610A by a porosity of a positive electrode active material layer 223A and a thickness (La1+La2) of the positive electrode active material layer 223A, and the value B being obtained by dividing an oil absorption amount of linseed oil of a negative electrode active material particle 710A by a porosity of a negative electrode active material layer 243A and a thickness (Lb1+Lb2) of the negative electrode active material layer 243A.
