Title:
NONAQUOUS ELECTROLYTIC SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10340717
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery that maintains high-reliability electrical connections against shocks, such as a drop or the like.

This nonaquous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a generating element 2, composed of a negative electrode, a separator, a positive electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte, an armoring can 1 of a type being opened at one to its ends that contains the generating element 2, a sealing body 4 that seals the opening of the armoring can 1 in an airtight condition and is also used as one of the electrode terminals, a safety valve pat 8 that is located on the sealing body 4 and relieves a rising internal pressure, the other electrode terminal 3 that is separated, insulated and isolated from the safety valve part 8 and is led out through and placed on the sealing body 4 in the form of airtight sealing. Lead parts that connect electrically the negative and positive electrodes in the generating element 2 to each of the electrodes 4, 3 respectively. In this case, each of the lead parts is connected to the corresponding one of the electrode terminals 4, 3 by means of welding.
