Abstract:

To provide a noncontact IC card reader/writer apparatus which does not lower visibility or operability or require an input apparatus except a noncontact IC card.

The noncontact IC card reader/writer apparatus 20 comprises a plurality of antennas 22-25 for transmitting and receiving carrier waves to and from the noncontact IC card; an A/D converter 44 for detecting the voltage level of the carrier waves from the noncontact IC card independently received by the plurality of the antennas 22-25; and a control part 30 for computing the position of the noncontact IC card on the basis of the voltage level detected by the A/D converter 44.
