Abstract:
To provide anti-NMDA antibodies or fragments or derivatives thereof which are effective in inhibiting the deleterious effects of tissue-type plasminogen activator (t-PA) mediated by N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors.SOLUTION: Provided is an anti-NMDA receptor antibody, fragment or derivative which can bind to an epitope comprising a particular amino acid sequence, or comprises one or more complementarity determining regions having a particular amino acid sequence, or comprises one or more complementarity determining regions which have a particular amino acid sequence which is altered at one or two amino acid positions or contains an insertion of one or more amino acids, and which are functional equivalents of the corresponding unaltered complementarity determining regions.SELECTED DRAWING: None
