Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the monoclonal antibody permitting to determine synaptophysin in a small amount of the antibody on the determination of the synaptophysin contained in an small amount in a tissue by a complement- immobilizing assay.
CONSTITUTION: The monoclonal antibody is a monoclonal antibody produced with the extract of a rat brain as an immunogen. The immunoglobulin class of the antibody belongs to IgM, and the antibody has a unique reactivity with the synaptophysin or P-38 of a rat.
