Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I [A is halogen; B is H or halogen; X and Y are O or S; R is ≤20C (substituted) aralkyl or pyridylalkyl or (substituted 3W20C alkyl].
EXAMPLE: N-2,6-difluorobenzoyl-N'-α-methylbenzylurea.
USE: Insecticidal and ovicidal agent. Effective to hygienic vermin, animal and vegetable parasite, forestry vermin, etc. It has high safety and exhibits excellent effect at a low rate of application.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be prepared by reacting the compound of formula II with the compound of formula H2N-R in a solvent such as toluene, at 0W120°C, preferably 50W120°C for 20minW5hr. The amount of the compound of formula II is 1W1.2mol per 1mol of the compound of formula H2N-R.
