Abstract:
To provide a method for simply and efficiently producing nucleic acid bases having a perfluoroalkyl group.
The method for efficiently producing the perfluoroalkyl nucleic acid bases useful as a medicinal intermediate is carried out as follows. Halogenated perfluoroalkyls are reacted with nucleic acid bases (e.g. uracils, cytosines, adenines, guanines, hypoxanthines or xanthines, etc.) in the presence of sulfoxides, a peroxide and an iron compound.
