Abstract:
To provide a novel nucleic acid molecule for inhibiting target gene expression, (1) having gene expression inhibitory activity equivalent to or greater than siRNA, (2) having no off-target effect caused by a sense strand, and (3) enabling the design of a wider range of antisense strand sequences (expansion of targetable sequence range) without being restricted by the above strand bias rules.SOLUTION: Provided is a nucleic acid molecule represented by the general formula below [where, the definition of each symbol is as described in the specification].SELECTED DRAWING: None
