PURPOSE: To control the efficient use of a picture bus by permitting the use of the picture bus in accordance with an algorithm of a precedence pattern at the time when a picture memory processing card as the access object can be used by a high-speed bus control part and the pictuer bus is not used.
CONSTITUTION: When data is read from some of picture memory cards 5 to 7 at each time of receiving information of a segmentation address or the like from an entire control card 1 through a bus control line 15 by plate segmenting processing cards 8 to 10, the picture memory card from which data should be preferentially read is determined. Therefore, one of cards 8 to 10 acquires the use right of a picture bus A 16 or B 17 by a bus acquisition permission control signal sent from the general control card 1 through a control line 15 to input data from the objective picture memory card. The operation for input of this data is performed by the high-speed bus control part included in the card 1.
