Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily update an election number by reading data sheets for update by a automatic voting ticket collator. CONSTITUTION:The data sheet 17 for update for election number data update processing is in the same format with voting tickets and its format is so determined suitably that the automatic voting ticket collator reads data on ticket surfaces and consists of a code 18 indicating update data on an election number, update data 19, and a check code 19. Printed data sheets are distributed to respective matching machines. The update code 18, update data 19, and check code of the distributed data sheet 17 are read by the OCR3 of the matching machine. The read update code 18 is set as an update code flag in an update code flag part 8 and the update data 19 is checked and then written on a floppy disk 13. Consequently, an election number storage data update system suitable for automatic matching machines which have no communication function is realized.
