Abstract:
PURPOSE:To efficiently execute an input operation by inputting a calculation expression as original information and automatically transforming the calculation expression to the numeral of a calculation result. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 1, a display circuit for displaying and controlling a display device 2, a numeral transforming circuit 5 for transforming between respective type numeral characters such as an Arabic numeral, a Chinese numeric character, a Chinese numeric large character, a Roman numeric character, a four fundamental rule arithmetic circuit 6 for executing a four fundamental rule operation and a control circuit 7 for executing the whole control of a KANA (Japanese syllabary) KANJI (Chinese character) transformation or the formation of a document are provided. A prescribed transforming instruction is received to an operation expression including the numeral and an operator in an input character string to execute the operation and the numeral of the operated result is replaced as the transformed result of the operation expression. Thereby, the input of the document in which the original of the numeral to be inputted is applied in the form of the calculation expression can be efficiently carried out.
