Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decide the number of dressing times necessary and sufficient for a work, and to reduce the work time due to a difference worker and the difference in finishing state, by deciding as to whether or not the dressing of a grinding wheel is necessary or not on the way of the work of a work from the reference presuming the load of the grinding wheel.

CONSTITUTION: A load discriminating means which discriminates the size of the load of a grinding wheel G expected at the execution time of a work cycle with the work data and grinding conditions being as the index, and a cycle dividing means which decides that the work cycle is divided into more than two small cycles from a grinding process at the time when the load of the grinding wheel G is decided larger by this load discriminating means, are provided. The dressing of the grinding wheel G is performed by a dressing executing means 52 whenever the divided small cycle by this cycle dividing means is completed.
