To provide an OA equipment roller having excellent applicability to high-speed printing, and a manufacturing method thereof.
The OA equipment roller includes: a cylindrical core body; and an outermost layer laminated on a peripheral surface side of the core body. A main component of the outermost layer is fluororesin. The fluororesin of the outermost layer is crosslinked and chemically bonded with a material for an inner layer. A formation material of the core body is preferably a heat resistant resin. The fluororesin of the outermost layer is preferably tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoro alkyl vinyl ether copolymer (PFA) or poly-tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The outermost layer preferably includes PFA and PTFE, and the mass ratio of the PFA and the PTFE is preferably 99:1 or larger and 50:50 or smaller.
