Abstract:
PURPOSE: To recognize an object existing in a dead angle when a side view mirror is recognized.
CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic sensor 14 to detect a parallel running vehicle existing in the scope of the dead angle in the running condition is provided to the housing 15 of a door mirror 13, and an optical fiber 17 flashed by driving an LED driving circuit 16 when a parallel running vehicle is detected by the ultrasonic sensor 14 is provided to the housing 15 of the door mirror 13 directing to the driver, and the driver confirms the flashing when he confirms the door mirror 13, so as to confirm that a parallel running vehicle is in the scope of the dead angle.
