Title:
OBJECT DETECTION DEVICE FOR MOBILE BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3689399
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the adjustment of an axis of a radar device with respect to the up-and-down direction, with simple structure in a short time.
SOLUTION: A stopper 34, which supports and freely oscillates in the up-and-down direction a lens holder 31 supporting a light receiving lens 17 of a receiving means R of the radar device to a housing through an axis member 32, and which is moved in the up-and-down direction by a coil spring 36 and a solenoid 38, is disposed below the lens holder 31. By exciting the solenoid 38 so that a stopper 34 is made apart from the lens holder 31, the solenoid 38 is demagnetized in the state in which the center of gravity G of the lens holder 31 supporting the light receiving lens 17 is positioned vertically below the axis member 32, and the lens holder 31 is fixed by the stopper 34. Accordingly, a receiving axis Lr of the light receiving lens 17 can be adjusted with respect to the horizontal direction, without adjusting the attachment angle of the housing of the radar device to the body of a vehicle.
