Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection device capable of shortening time until resumption of communication with a control device while securing tolerance to electric noise.SOLUTION: In an object detection system, a control device and an object detection device 20 are connected via a communication line 14, power is supplied via the communication line 14, and information is communicated by superposing a signal on current flowing through the communication line 14. The object detection device 20 is applied to the object detection system, drives a piezoelectric vibrator 80 at a prescribed control cycle to transmit a survey wave, and receives a reflection wave reflected by an object. The object detection device comprises: a capacitor 44 connected in parallel with a drive circuit 30 to drive the piezoelectric vibrator 80; and a current control unit for controlling a current value of the communication line after completion of power supply to the drive circuit 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
