Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce or prevent steady-stage friction and friction due to temperatue differential by fixing an outer selector valve member to a rotor axially immovably, while allowing radial movement of the member to a rotor axially immovably, while allowing radial movement of the member through the arrangement of some clearance between the outside surface of the member and the inside surface of the rotor.
