Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation of dielectric strength by providing DC output terminals of rectifier stacks on the top of a tank and suppressing the adhering of sludge between the terminals. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of rectifier stacks 1, 11, and 21-51, wherein a plurality of semiconductor rectifying elements 1a-1n are arranged in an electric insulating plate, are arranged in parallel. At this time, the positive side 14P' of DC output terminaks 14, which will be subjected to the effect of sludge to the largest extent and the negative side 14N' are connected to the DC leading terminals 14P and 14N on the top of the tank. Therefore, AC input terminals 13', and 13U'-13W' which have relatively small effect by the sludge are located at the bottom and connected to the leading terminals 13U-13W.
