Title:
OIL IMPREGNATED METAL POWDER SINTERED BEARING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2740439
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a high precision oil impregnated metal powder sintered bearing without being affected by the dimensional precision of a housing by dispensing with any housing through a process for eliminating flow-out of lubricating oil even if a bearing housing is not used, and also to aim at a drastic cost reduction by decreasing the cost of the housing itself and the press-in cost of the bearing.
CONSTITUTION: An oil impregnated metal powder sintered bearing 22 is formed by supporting a rotary shaft 26 rotatably and being held by a presser member 16, and having its porosity on an outer peripheral surface 32 less than 5% in area ratio, and having its the axial end surface held by a presser member 16.
