Abstract:
PURPOSE:To supply a working oil containing no bubbles to a rush adjustor by providing a centrifugal separator to an oil supply path connecting an oil pump with the oil-pressure type lash adjustor. CONSTITUTION:Oil is injected into an rotary chamber 13 through oil tubes 20 and 17. The oil containing no air bubbles is directed to a region near the peripheral side by centrifugal force, flowed into an oil tube 15, and then directed through the space 16, the hole 18, and the oil joint 19 toward an oil-pressure type lash adjustor side. In this way, as the engine reaches higher rotation regions, only the working oil containing lesser amounts of air bubbles can be supplied to the oil-pressure type lash adjustor.
