Abstract:
To provide an oleic soap which has an age resisting activity on the skin, and suffer little from oxidative deterioration, and to provide an antioxidant and a method for manufacturing the same.
The oleic soap is manufactured by reacting oleic acid as a fatty acid component with potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide to obtain an alkali metal salt of oleic acid, subsequently mixing or adding a silk material as an antioxidant to the alkali metal salt, and further adding glucose or the like to the resultant mixture. This enables the oxidative deterioration of the oleic soap to be suppressed due to the reductive action of the silk material, and provides a soap which can suppress the aging of the skin.
