Abstract:
To provide probes, detection kits, and detection methods, which can detect a nucleic acid in a sample to which a thiol reducing agent has been added.SOLUTION: Provided is an oligonucleotide probe for testing a sample containing a thiol reducing agent, the oligonucleotide probe having a reporter moiety and a quencher moiety, the peak wavelength of the excitation spectrum of the reporter moiety being 540 nm or more, and the quencher moiety being a non-azo dye capable of absorbing fluorescence from the reporter moiety.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
