PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a one-time password generator, etc. capable of reducing a burden in producing the same.SOLUTION: A method for producing a one-time password generator 1 comprises a step (a) for card processing of the one-time password generator 1 including an infrared receiving module 11 by a card process unit 103, a step (b) for inputting identification information and cryptographic key information for every customer into the one-time password generator 1 by infrared ray communication through the infrared receiving module 11 from an infrared ray input device 105, and a step (c) for destroying and invalidating the infrared receiving module 11 by an infrared-ray-communication invalidation device 109.
