To perform an accurate control of an inner temperature when some goods are stored without forming any air curtain by a method wherein a heating means is installed at each of goods display shelves within a casing.
An entire surface of a casing 1 is formed with an opening 2. A plurality of goods display shelves 3 for use in displaying some goods while being mounted thereon are arranged within the opening 2. Each of the goods displaying shelves 3 is provided with a plate-type heater 16 connected to a bimetal-type thermostat. When the goods are stored under high temperature condition, a cooling means 15 comprised of a compressor 5, a fan 6, a condenser 7 and a cooler 9 is stopped in its operation, the plate-type heater 16 is operated, thereby an inner side of the casing 1 is formed as a high temperature storing chamber. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to make a substantial reduction of changing-over time from a low temperature storing to a high temperature storing and at the same time the displayed goods can be heated to a desired temperature rapidly and accurately. In addition, since it is possible to make a substantial reduction in a temperature difference within a casing, each of the goods can be uniformly heated.
