To provide an opening-closing device of a sliding door for reducing cost by shortening a work process by omitting installation work of a metallic butting plate in a building site, and causing no damage in a window frame without using the metallic butting plate installed in the window frame.
This opening-closing device 1 for the sliding door has a lever handle 2 having an operation point (a) in one end part, a point of application (b) in the other end part, and a fulcrum (c) in an intermediate part, and has a butting plate 3 for moving the point of application (b) by rotating the lever handle 2, following and moving by being pressed by this point of application (b), abutting on the window frame 21 storing the sliding door 7, and returning to an initial state by an energizing means when removing a load, when force F in the direction for opening the sliding door 7 is applied to the operation point (a) of this lever handle 2.
