Abstract:
To provide an operating device, an operating method, and a control program capable of preventing or suppressing contact with a place touched by a user when another user operates a touch panel.SOLUTION: An MFP 100 includes a touch panel 171, a storage unit 184, and a display control unit. The touch panel 171 receives a user's touch input and outputs information on the position where the touch input is performed. The storage unit 184 stores the touched position or area on the touch panel 171 as contact history information. The display control unit of a control unit displays an operation menu on the display screen of the touch panel 171. Further, on the basis of the contact history information, the display control unit controls to display the touched position or area on the touch panel 171 on the display screen so as to be distinguishable from other positions or areas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
