Abstract:
To provide an operating device that is advantageous in terms of operability of an operating member.SOLUTION: An operating device (10) for controlling a movable optical element to change the optical characteristics of an optical device comprises: an operating member (101); a detection unit (102) that detects the amount of operation of the operating member; and a control unit (103) that generates a command value for the control on the basis of the operation amount. The control unit displays, on a display unit, a first area corresponding to a first range as a range of the command value or a value taken by a control amount in the control, a first index indicating the command value or the control amount in association with the first area, a second area corresponding to a second range as a range of a value taken by the operation amount, a second index indicating the operation amount in association with the second area, and a first effective area in the first area corresponding to an effective range set in the first range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
