Abstract:

PURPOSE: To quickly let a vehicle arrive at a designated point regardless of the number of the vehicles and a network area by sending out confirmation signals when position data and the designated point on a map are a prescribed distance or less.

CONSTITUTION: When sending the vehicle is requested from a customer, a fixed station 20 confirms a designated position based on the map 21 and designates the point with a mouse. Thus, the latitude and longitude of the point are transmitted to respective mobile stations 10, the difference of the latitude and longitude and the latitude and longitude of the mobile station 10 is calculated in a distance calculation part 12 and a separated distance is calculated. At this time, when the mobile station 10 is present in the range of an initially set response distance, an OK signal is sent out from a response origination part 15 to the fixed station 20. In the case of being outside the range, the response is not required. When no response is present from any vehicles, after the lapse of prescribed seconds, a response distance changing part 26 changes the response distance, performs transmission to the mobile stations 10 and when the response is present from either of the mobile stations 10, the vehicle is designated as the vehicle to be sent.
