Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of an upward flow type reactor that prevents a filler such as a catalyst from falling (backward flowing) to the primary side through a fluid passage of a fluid distributor even when starting or stopping fluid supply, and to provide water treatment equipment.SOLUTION: An upward flow type reactor 1-1 has a structure that a filler 30 is loaded above a distributor 20 having a plurality of nozzles 25 to supply a fluid and the fluid passage of the nozzle 25 is larger than a part of the filler 30. When the fluid starts to be supplied from the fluid passage into the filler 30, the supply rate is gradually increased. On the other hand, when the fluid stops being supplied from the fluid passage into the filler 30, the supply rate is gradually decreased.
