To provide an operation panel whose operability is improved and electronic equipment equipped with the same by guiding the operation content of an operation button to a user.
An operation part 2 as an operation panel installed in an image processor is provided with an input part 12 for inputting an operation instruction; a display part 13 having a screen 13b; a detection part 14 for detecting the position of the input body of a user who operates the screen 13b; and an operation part 15 having a guide function for guiding an operation content to a user according yo the position of the detected input body. The control part 15 receives coordinates of the input body detected by the detection part 14. The control part 15 recognizes the received coordinates as coordinates to be operated by the input body to the screen, and detects an operation button 13a displayed at the coordinates. The control part 15 specifies the detected operation button 13a as an operation button 13a to be operated. The control part 15 executes a guide function when specifying the operation button 13a to be operated.
