Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical axis adjustment mechanism for vehicular headlight which is not broken by vibration and the like and which has high durability.SOLUTION: An optical axis adjustment mechanism adjusts an optical axis of a lighting fixture unit 4 of a vehicular headlight 1 which comprises by accommodating the lighting fixture unit 4 in a lamp chamber 3 defined by a housing 2 and an outer lens for covering a front surface opening. In the optical axis adjustment mechanism, an upper part and a lower part of the lighting fixture unit 4 are supported by spherical bearings 10, 11 respectively, and adjust bolts 14, 15 are arranged on a vertical surface V passing each of the centers of both spherical bearings 10, 11 and on a horizontal surface H orthogonal to the vertical surface V. Here, the spherical bearings 10, 11 are constituted by fitting convex spherical inside sliders 10A, 11A fixed on the lighting fixture unit 4 side in concave spherical outside sliders 10B, 11B fixed on the housing 2 side respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
