CONSTITUTION: In an optical card in which a card backing 4 is laminated on the surface of an optical recording material layer 2 for optical recording which is formed on one side of a light transmitting material layer 2 through an adhesive layer 3, while a transparent protective layer 5 and a surface hardening layer 6 are laminated on the other side of the substrate 1, printing layers 7a, 7c are placed on the part of the card backing 4 which corresponds to the optical recording material layer 2.
