The optical device 200 comprises a wavelength optic 202 that has transmission properties to a prescribed wavelength and transmits incident light; a first light detection means 203 for detecting the intensity of transmission light through the wavelength optic 202; a second light detection means 204 for detecting the intensity of reflection light reflected by the wavelength optic 202; and a determining means 205 for determining that the relative relationship between the transmission wavelength of the wavelength optic 202 and the wavelength of incident light has changed, when the increase/decrease in light intensity detected by the first light detection means 203 and that in light intensity detected by the second light detection means 204 are opposite.
