Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an optical disk adaptable to an analog signal as well by providing plural signal tracks and having a non-signal area for detecting cross-talk on respective signal tracks.
CONSTITUTION: In the optical disk having plural signal tracks Tn-2 ... Tn+2, forming track pits on the signal tracks Tn-2 ... Tn+2 and recorded with signal information, the non-signal areas M for detecting cross-talk are formed on respective tracks Tn-2 ... Tn+2. On the non-signal area M, no pit is formed, and the non-signal areas are formed by specular finishing. No signal is detected by reflected beam of a light spot irradiating the non-signal areas M on the mirror surface part, and the effect of cross-talk is controlled to be eliminated from the detected signal on the non-signal areas M.
