Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a method of mounting an optical element array, where an optical device large in number of arrays is easily realized and the optical axes of a large number of optical elements are easily aligned with each other in the constitution of an optically connected system of large scale. CONSTITUTION:In a mounting method through which optical element arrays of an optical system are mounted through optical subordinate connection, an optical element array 9 is mounted on a mounting body provided with a recess which functions as an optical axis aligning means to the array 9, optical windows 7 and 8 which protect the array 9, and an aligning means (protrusions 102 and 103) used for aligning mounting bodies with each other. The mounting bodies are laminated to optically connect the optical element array 9 in a subordinate manner.
