Abstract:
To provide an optical element having excellent resistance to the pressure-induced defect.
The optical element includes a photopolymer layer including a hologram, an optical diffuser, and a microlens array or lens and is used together with a liquid crystal display arranged adjacently to the first surface of the photopolymer layer. The optical element includes an additional layer arranged adjacently to the surface of the photopolymer layer on the side opposite to its first surface. The additional layer contains a cellulose ester polymer having at least 16-Knoop hardness.
